Title of the Practice:- COVID-19 Vaccination Camp(From 24th June 2021 to 10th August 2021)

Objective of the Practice:
 To save the public, students and staff from the COVID-19 pandemic by providing the facilty at their doorstep.
 

Context:-
  A COVID-19 vaccination camp was organized by the institution in its campus in collaboration with Civil Hospital, Hariana and Health Department of Punjab.

Practice:-
  Daily a large number of people received Covid vaccination (COVISHIELD and COVAXIN). We ensured that 100% of the college above 18 years of age got vaccinated in the camp.

Evidence of Success :-
 • People of the area came forward to get Covid vaccine.
 • Due to this Vaccination Camp, Covid cases got reduced.

Problems :-
 1. The shortage of Covid Vaccine supply was one of the main problem.
 2. The vaccination camp ccncluded on 10th August, 2021 due to the opening of college after lockdown.

II. Title of The Practice :- Participation of Alumni in all-round development of the college.

Objectives :-
 1. To provide expertize training in sports for various competetions being organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
 2. To provide stipend and scholarship to needy students to continue their study.
 3. To support financially in the expansion of infrastructure of the college.

Context :-
 Our Alumni are real asset to overall development of the institution including best possible help in coaching our students for various sports competetions. Their dedication towards sports and institution amply proves that the college has inculcated the moral values and habit of returning back to the society. The old players of the institution give free coaching to the students of this institution voluntarily. They are also helpful in giving stipend and  scholarship to needy students to continue their study.  They aslo help financially in the infrastructural expansion of the college.

Practice :-
 To make students aware about the importance of games. To unlock students' potential to maximize their own performance.
 Mr. Lakhwinder Singh provides training to the college Cricket team.
 Mr. Sandeep Kumar trains the college Kabbadi team.
 Mr. Bharat Bhushan provides training to the college Volleyball team.
 The college receives funds from various alumni to help the needy students and for the development of the college.
Evidence of Success :-
 With the help of training provided by the coaches, the college cricket team got second position in the session 2017-2018 and 3rd position in 2018-19 in Panjab University Inter College Competetion. 

 Kabaddi(Punjab Style) team of the college got 2nd position in the Panjab Unversity Inter College competition for the session 2021-2022 and 1st position in 2022-23.

Problems :-
 The volunteer trainers are not full time trainers as they are busy in their own professions.
 The volunteer trainers are generaly not availble during the college hours.
